Sea Oats 403

We have been renting vacation units from JC Property Mgt. for over 30 years. They are great to work with and have a variety of properties to fit your needs and preferences. Although Sea Oats is a beautiful property and beach, this particular unit 403 needs upgrades and work. I would not rent this unit again until I was assured it was done. The actual Sea Oats property is beautifully renovated after the Hurricane Helene. Great job to them and the whole area!! One last comment....if being able to rent the beach lounge chairs and umbrellas is important to you, this is not the property (Redington Beach). We are not young enough to handle set up of tents and dragging all the chairs to the beach everyday. This is by City restriction. You can go a mile down the road to Indian Shores or Madeira and you will be provided this valuable service and amenity. That is not an important feature for everyone, but for those of us with some mobility issues, it is a real plus in where we will stay. JC Property manages units close by that have the great lounge chairs beach rentals (Ramsea and Sand Dollar, for example). It was an overall wonderful stay and my favorite stretch of beaches in all of Florida!

Overall a great condo. Kitchen needs some updating as well as some additional kitchenware. Rooms were spacious and the view is spectacular! Some places throughout the rental process with VRBO says check in is at 10am which is why we chose the flight we chose however it is actually 4pm. It does state the 4pm check-in on the rental agreement if you read it carefully so we had a 5 hour wait for our room to be ready. Not ideal but we were able to get a pool pass while we waited.

The condo was very nice with an amazing view! Kitchen needs some updates as well as some additional kitchenware. VRBO says check-in is at 10am but once you get the rental agreement, it says 4pm leaving us with a 5hour wait to get in the room. Otherwise had a wonderful time!

The condo needs some serious updates especially the beds. Whoever stayed before us just put their dirty dishes in the cupboards so we washed everything before we used them. There were plenty of bath towels and some beach gear that we were able to use. Sea Oats is a very nice property and the pool and beach are great.

After being displaced from Fort Myers due to Ian, we ventured to the St Pete area. The condo accommodated myself, my sister and my 4 kids perfectly. Reviews saying it hasn’t been updated were a little off as most condos on the beach are not typically aesthetically modern (at this price point) and we weren’t disappointed at all (the pictures of the interior depicted it perfectly). Having laundry in the room was a huge perk along with plenty of space for everyone. Only recommendations would be adding some beach chairs to the room as there are not any on the beach. Beach, pool, view and parking were great.

Not sure why there are so many complaints about this condo. We found it very clean and comfortable. I did have to have help with the t.v.(and that was addressed quickly once I reported that I needed help). Bathroom light was fixed quickly. The staff was just as nice as they could be. Compared to the prices of all of the other condo's in this unit, it was a great deal. The amenities such as washer and dryer and beach accessories were a nice plus. We found the beds to be comfortable. As stated, pillows could be a little plusher, but I brought my own because I'm picky. Others just doubled up on pillows. We had loads of sleeping space and no one had to sleep on the couch. I thought the kitchen was well stocked and you can't beat the location. We did not have any trouble with the plumbing. I know from past experience most of the condos in this area have plumbing issues. I think it is just a general thing most deal with in beach areas. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and plan to stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised after so many negative reviews about this condo. It was clean, had loads of space, and a killer view and location. The one issue we had was the bathroom light and that was taken care of within a couple of hours after reporting it to management. They had to bring in an electrician to fix the problem; it wasn't just changing a light bulb. Front desk people were as nice as they could be and very helpful. I found the beds to be very comfortable and so did the rest of my party. Because of being particularly picky about pillows, I brought my own but others in my party didn't and just doubled up on pillows. I did not hear any complaints. There were plenty of amenities, including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and an umbrella. The layout was perfect for us and everyone had a bed and there was plenty of bathroom space. I always had hot water when I showered, but we all kind of staggered our shower times. Both toilets worked just fine. I do know the plumbing in this particular building can be sensitive and that is just par for the course (my sister's in-laws own a condo at Sea Oates). Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone. In fact, I will stay there again the next time we visit the area.

Positive: Very appreciative of being able to get 3BR on beach with about only a month before trip during spring break and very appreciative of owners. Great view and fun location. Unit has great bones and size. New refrigerator, stove top and microwave Negative: mattresses were uncomfortable, flat pillows, took an hour to figure out living room tv as there were no instructions, electrical outlets that didn’t work, outdated furniture, 4 pieces to blinds missing, master shower-curtain fell down (I put it back in place), only one lamp in children’s room worked (which was enough for us), outdated hardware, matted down carpet. Vents were very dirty and need cleaned: my wife was coughing constantly from the dirty air flowing thru the unit. Place just needs to be invested in and it’d be a great place. Like I said: great bones.

The condo has most everything you need in the kitchen, beach toys, chairs and plenty other goodies. Laundry in the unit is huge bonus. We will definitely come back again.

We loved our stay there. The views from the balcony were incredible, especially the sunsets. The beach access was also world class and not crowded. The pool area also was very nice. Parking was plentyful. The unit itself was ok, but could use some elbow grease and a little TLC. The beds in the front bedroom need to be replaced, as well as the carpet in the living room. Overall the stay was very good, and with a few upgrades it would have been a great stay. What few concerns we had, JC Resorts were quick to address. Overall we recommend this property.

The location was great, beach access was incredible, views were perfect, but the unit itself need some upgrades. It is dated and in need of some TLC. The kitchen is old, carpet need replacing, and the master bedroom desperately needs new beds. The beds in the master were only a mattress with no box spring underneath. It sat too low to the ground and was uncomfortable to sleep in. Overall the stay was good and we enjoyed our stay, but with just a few upgrades Thursday could be great.

My girlfriends and I from college try to do a yearly trip away each summer. We love the clearwater area and were so excited to find Sea Oats! The booking and check in process were extremely easy. We were even allowed to check in early as soon as we arrived to the area. The condo was the perfect location, right on the beach and easily accessible to the areas other big attractions. The only things to point out is that one of the beds with the ocean view room was broken, as well as a dining room chair. The utensils were also dirty looking, but we just washed them before using. Overall, we had an amazing week staying in Sea Oats!

The location is wonderful. The condo needs some serious updating. The beds are pretty awful, especially in the master bedroom. We would have enjoyed our stay much more if we could have gotten a good night sleep but the bed was so lumpy that it was difficult. Also, basic things like a toaster were not there so we had to purchase and then leave it which is frustrating. Also, the condo is supposed to have an in room safe but does not. We told them at the front desk at Ram Sea and they insisted that it should have one. It does not have a safe! I would stay there again in a minute if the owner would put a little money into some updates.

We and our 5 kids had a wonderful time exploring Redington, Madiera and treasure island. Having the pool and beach to entertain us and the kids was spectacular. Spacious condo and wonderful views of the sunset. Kitchen was not well stocked and dishes cups plates silverware was filthy. The dishwasher I believe wasn’t working properly to clean things. Other than that, excellent stay!! Can’t wait to visit again!!!

Beautiful view. Better than at Anglers Cove where we stayed last year. Only a few complaints. First is the door going out of condo, which we had an awful time opening from the inside and out. I found if I pushed in the handle it helped. And the other was one of the sinks in the Master bedroom must have been a bit clogged. Sink would fill up and take forever to drain. My friends wished there was a high table and chairs on balcony since we are all short and had to look thru the railing to see the water. So really nothing major. We would come back if next year we decide on the area for our trip

The place was spacious and had everything we needed. I could have just lived out on the balcony. When we first arrived, we noticed carpet was very wet near the sliding glass doors (due to a recent storm), called management and they took care of it right away. We would definitely rent again. We had a wonderful vacation. The condo was clean and furnished nicely. The management company was very responsive and pleasant. The balcony was my favorite spot to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The condo was quiet and I never heard any of the neighbors. The only downside, the master bed did not have a box spring. The memory foam mattress was placed on the slats of the bed frame making for a very low profile, uncomfortable sleep.

You can hear the waves at night when you are sleeping. The view was gorgeous. Lovely to walk up and down the beach. Great having a nice pool as well. Minor downsides were the dryer took a long time to dry. The ice maker did not work and would have been nice to have screen doors. But again very minor. The lift took a long time but there were also stairs to use. Overall the accommodations were perfect for our family and we had a great week vacation. Thank you
