This was our third consecutive stay in 504. When we arrived, the primary bed was not made but management quickly found sheets and prepared the room for us. We knew about the construction to the bathrooms which we appreciated prior to arriving. The pool and grounds looked fabulous since the hurricane! Very impressed! The beach rejuvenation work was a surprise but we understood the need for the maintenance work. The construction on both sides of Sand Dollar was consistent and noisy and dusty when by the pool but again, it is post hurricane work. The majority' of the staff were welcoming as always. As Canadians returning, we were unsure of what to expect. Overall, Indian Shores did not disappoint us.

I have been coming to this property since I was a child. (30+ years) Property is immaculately maintained and the staff is highly professional. Unit 504 is worth every bit of its Gold rating! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Pros: Clean condo and facility. Easy and close parking to elevator. Spacious condo.FULLY stocked kitchen. Lots of beach supplies, including toys and canopy and chairs.Lots of seating in the living room,large tvs. Plenty of supplies for like tp, trash bags, cleaning tabs. Cons: 1 elevator only, buffering of streaming, not enough shade at pool, warm master br at night. Overall, great placeand location and would stay again.

Our stay at the Sanddollar was great as usual. We have been staying here for 20 + years often spring & fall. The staff are always 200%. Friendly & always making sure we have everything we need ! Front desk office staff are always friendly & helpful if you need anything. The condo 504 we had this trip was great! The patio furniture was very comfortable. We recommend to everyone that asks that it is a fabulous place to stay.

We loved this unit! The location was wonderful and close by to great restaurants and views were spectacular from balcony. The unit had great accommodations. The living area has wonderful seating for lounging and sitting on balcony. My only suggestion would be to have a side chair in each bedroom for sitting down in front of mirrors to do hair and makeup and luggage racks to handle multiple suitcases. Other than that, awesome accomodations. Will definitely be back to this unit and property!!!

Our family stayed at JC resort for 1 week and had an amazing time. The hurricane wiped out the pool, so we were unable to use. But the neighboring resort kindly allowed us to use their pool, which made me kids very happy. The room was great. Would benefit from having a few more kid friendly amenities, like games, drinking cups and maybe a step stool for the high sinks. Otherwise, we have no complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. The unit we were in was nicely appointed, recently updated and we loved the porch. The sunsets were mesmerizing. The heated pool was very enjoyable as was the hot tub (it was almost too hot!). The pool area got very crowded and there wasn't enough tables with shade available. Beach access was great and there were great bars and dining very close. Biggest drawback was the elevator. One elevator for 60 units and it was slow as molassis. There are stairwells, but my wife is recovering from 4 hip surgeries in the past year, so they weren't an option. They should put benches by the elevator doors on each level. All in all, very nice place and would recommend staying there.

Our stay was wonderful. The location was exactly what we were looking for, right on the beach, and wonderful views from the balcony. We watched dolphins feed in the mornings and manatees swam right by us. The fishing pier was a nice bonus as well.

Great location and clean property. We had fun fishing off of the pier and looking for seashells along the beach. One of the long time residents there does sand art every year and the kids loved it! Everyone was very welcoming. We heard there were a lot of teenagers on the beach at night prior to our stay but they were only out there our first night and were not too loud.

Lovely 5th floor beach front unit! Well stocked and very clean. On-site property managers pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed watching the sunsets from our balcony. Other reviews for this property mentioned a “slow elevator”, but it was never really a big problem. Got congested during check-in, but everyone took it in stride and remained polite and patient.

Overall, we would give this vacation stay a thumbs up. The accommodations had everything we needed and for preparation of meals during our vacation. Large accommodations would suit two couples easily. Beautiful view which included dolphin sightings everyday. Good meals at Keegan's, Caddy's (get anchor shaped pretzel appetizer), and Indian Shores Coffee. Only downfall was person cigar smoking on balcony next to ours.

Our family enjoyed our vacation at the Sandollar resort. The view was amazing and the pier was pretty cool. The only thing that was kind of different was that our master bedroom backed up to the main hallway where everybody walks and you can hear everything no matter what time of the day or night it is. The condo was very nice and was fully equipped. We would definitely do it again but maybe try a different room.

This property is exactly as pictured and we had a wonderful time!! Great location, beautiful beach. A burned-out bulb in the shower was replaced very quickly after we told the staff, who were all very friendly & attentive to any needs we had. Our only negatives are 1) the air vent filter is very dirty & needs changing, as well as the bathroom vents need cleaning, and 2) people were smoking on the balconies of the non-smoking properties below & next to us, so that we couldn’t enjoy sitting on our balcony when they were out on theirs….it was AWFUL!! We don’t understand how smokers can rent the non-smoking properties, certainly the smoke & smell will be carried/blown into those condos! The smoke issue would’ve ruined our stay, it was that bad…thankfully it was only a couple of days/nights because they left & we could finally enjoy our balcony for the rest of our stay!! Despite those issues, we would definitely stay here again!!

Unfortunately, Sand Dollar is not a non-smoking property, although the guest rooms are non-smoking as is the pool area. Great ocean view with the balcony to match. Living area is open to the ocean view. Updated interior with large bedrooms. Giant screen TVs but, you should be by the ocean. Washer and dryer in the rental (super handy). Pool is clean and never had an issue getting a chair. Lobby staff is super friendly and, helpful. Plentiful parking. Will book this place again if we can. If you are not into stairs the single elevator is slow. There are not any beach towels nor insulated glasses so, bring some.

Loved our stay in #504! Living room / kitchen area very nicely decorated.However, upon our arrival we found our bare feet got dirty as the floors were not cleaned properly and under beds had a lot of dust bunnies.....needs a deep clean :)

We stayed here again because we LOVE the sand dollar. The location is perfect, close to everything. The condo itself was beautiful, just wish we could have turned the air conditioner below 70 because being on the top floor it gets a little toasty in the afternoon even with the blinds closed. It is fully equipped with every convenience. The ladies in the front office are so sweet and work with you so well. I truly look forward to visiting with them every time we go.

The condo itself was beautiful, just wish we could have turned the air conditioner below 70 because being on the top floor it gets a little toasty in the afternoon even with the blinds closed. It is fully equipped with every convenience. The ladies in the front office are so sweet and work with you so well. I truly look forward to visiting with them every time we go.

Nice and Clean Condo with perfect view! Loved the convenience of the pier right in front our condo. Lots of Dolphins everyday swimming by. We enjoyed the quietness of the location but close enough Clearwater and St. Pete when we wanted to venture into the busier sections.

We loved staying at the condo. The view is just amazing! And every night the sunsets were spectacular. Loved the open concept from the living room and kitchen and well as the huge dining room table. The bedrooms were both a great size. Also loved that we had a separate bathroom from the kids. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean with updated furnishings. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and pans for cooking your meals. Bathrooms equipped with plenty of towels and hair dryers. Pool and hot tub were very well maintained and clean. Washer and dryer came in very handy for drying suits and towels after a trip to the beach or pool. Would definitely recommend for future vacations.

Only issue was that the elevator was out of service for the last 2 days of our stay. We stayed on the 5th floor and no notification was given prior to our check in.

The property was juast as described on vrbo. Huge living and eating area. Plenty of room for everyone to have there own area. View was amazing! Would recommend this unit to friends or family.
