Home Away from Home - Sand Dollar 209 is a SILVER rated two-bedroom, two-bath Gulf Front vacation rental located in Indian Shores. This spacious 2nd-floor vacation rental has a delightful décor and includes a private Gulf Front balcony with a view of our beautiful white sugar sand beach. Plenty of balcony furniture to enjoy magnificent sunsets!

Vacation rental 209 offers a full size, fully-equipped kitchen complete with appliances including microwave and dishwasher, stocked drawers and you need to enjoy dining at home. Flat Screen Cable TVs in the living room and all bedrooms, telephone with free local US and Canada calls along with free Wi-Fi are also provided.

Sleeping accommodations include two queen beds in the main bedroom and 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. Both bathrooms offer single sink vanities and there is a walk-in shower in the main bathroom and a tub shower combo in the other bathroom. 209 has a Washer/Dryer, Central heat/air conditioning along with ceiling fans.

The Sand Dollar Resort amenities include On-Site Front desk for easy check-in, Gulf Front swimming pool, sundeck, Jacuzzi, Private fishing pier, Volleyball area, Charcoal grills, free parking, interior elevator system, stairs, pool restrooms and outdoor shower. Check-out maid service included. Bed Linens and bath towels are provided as well as beach towels.

This vacation rental comes with local gym access at no charge.

Maximum occupancy: 6 persons (including infants). 209 is a Smoke-Free Vacation Rental. Sorry, No pets. Limit two parking passes at check-in. No trailers, RVs or boats.

Short, sweet, and right on point—we love it, Tom! There’s something about that pool area at Sand Dollar 209 that just makes it easy to slow down, and having the beach right there doesn’t hurt either. We enjoyed this condo - great location right over the hot tub. We always stay on the first or second story so we can run up and down the stairs!! The fact that both rooms had 2 beds was a definite plus for us since we have a grandson and granddaughter with us. Although we miss our pier we thought the improvements to pool area & landscaping were great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We loved our stay at the Sand Dollar after staying elsewhere for 30 years...Therecwas some confusion about our responsibilities when we left...I had a flight very early and my daughter left mid morning ...I did not communicate with her final responsibility...We will do a better job next year...The office people were very efficient and friendly....I look forward to my stay next year...5 pts for all questions for below

The JC Resort team provides a wonderful stay. This specific unit (209) has a gorgeous view just above the pool, with ample indoor seating and sleeping arrangements and a generous amount of kitchen/dining essentials. Suggested updates include new box springs (current ones are so squeaky that you cannot get in/out of bed without waking up others), updated shower heads, and additional outdoor seating.

We had a girls trip and the Sand Dollar was awesome. Great location, condo was the perfect size with plenty of seating. The property was great, right on the water.

We have stayed at this resort for the past 12 years. Our kids have grown up going there on vacation. We hope they bring their kids there one day too. The rooms are clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony room was amazing! The pool and hot tub were perfectly located next to the beach. We always do family pictures on the pier. This year was extra special because we renewed of vows of 25 years together on the beach with family and friends! It's close to John's Pass where we ate great food and rode jet skis. Another wonderful vacation in the books!

It was very nice even though some of the weather was iffy at times.The property location (209) was the biggest issue being located over the hot tub was very noisy. People with loud music at the pool didn't allow you to enjoy the balcony. The beds were very noisy like we had read in previous reviews.

Beautiful: clean exterior including pool area, secure surroundings, view, location, easy parking, large rental unit with beautiful baths and kitchen. Draw Backs: unit had filthy floors, dirty towels left in washer upon arrival, only two small scratched teflon pans and one small stainless steel pan for cooking, all beds were noisy (must have been plastic protected), hassle getting to room with only one elevator and needing a key to use interior steps (buildings with exterior steps much easier), wristbands needed at all times (good concept but saw many people not wearing them plus felt like a liar returning 4 bands (we were a party of 4 adults and one 18 month old) when the office said I was given 5, directions for using the tv's would have been nice

We stayed in unit SD209. We liked the layout of the unit very much. Any issues we reported were corrected promptly by a very professional and pleasant staff. The one issue that could not be resolved were the poor condition of the washer and dryer.... some cycles did not work ... over 15 years old and very much need to be replaced.

We ended up staying in unit 409. The location and pool is amazing as always. I do feel like the unit needed some work. I'm not sure what classifies this unit as a silver. The furniture in the living room was in bad shape as well as the bed in the master. New bedding and mattress in there would make a huge difference. The kitchen was well equipt!

The condo was very accommodating to what we needed. We've stayed at the Sand Dollar before and it's always been a good experience. The only negative thing I could say about this unit is that the bedspreads could be updated and the beds were very creaky. I don't know if it's because the box springs need to be upgraded or what. The previous times I've stayed at the Sand Dollar we've stayed in the three bedroom condo which in comparison to the two bedrooms have bigger bathrooms which is nice also. But all in all I would definitely stay here again.
