The pool and beach area were great. We had issues with the water pressure in the showers. The fact that the entrance door to the condo did not completely close behind you. And that the dryer three cycles to dry clothes. The ice maker would only put out crushed ice. All in all we had a fantastic time and would look to rent again in the future

Overall, the entire property was in good condition and continues to improve with the recent exterior renovations. We look forward to returning next fall to see what additional updates have been completed. However, Apartment 105 was not up to the standards of the other two units our family rented, nor did it meet the quality we've experienced in past years.Areas of concern:Furniture: Much of the furniture was worn and dated. The deck furniture was a safety hazard both reclining chairs leaned back excessively and could damage the sliding doors.Master Bedroom: The master bed mattress was sinking and needs to be replaced. The only comfortable mattresses were in the double queen room.Appliances: The dryer required two full cycles to dry clothing.Condition of Fixtures: The guest bathroom cabinets were delaminating, and the recliner in the master bedroom had fabric worn away.Dining Area: Upon arrival, the dining room chairs needed to be tightened .Dining Room Carpet: The frayed carpet created a tripping hazard and needs attention.Maintenance Issues: The AC filter should have been changed prior to our arrival, and the cable box should not have been locked from charges in October. The AC filter change that occurred during our stay was unannounced; since we have two service dogs, we should have been notified in advance.Thank you for all your help during our stay and we look forward to our next visit in 2026

Check-in really easy, front desk extremely friendly, room was clean, easy access to elevator and trash chute. Pool very nice, property well maintained, still some repairs going on from hurricane.if i had to complain it would be a new mattress on master king bed, new dryer, and maybe some new furniture in living room. Nothing wrong with it just worn. Over our stay was great no issues. A/C preformed great on the 113 degree days while we were there.

Thankful we could secure a condo unit even though we only needed a 2 bedroom. We were very happy with (3 bedroom) unit 105. An extra plus was getting a discount since the pool area was not completed. Glad we could use the neighboring condo pool/hot tub.

6 of us stayed at this perfect condo right on the beach. Although the hurricane did a number on the town the community did a great job rebuilding as best they could in time for our vacation. The communication on the facility was great and we wouldn't change a thing. The rooms are all a great size, the closet space was perfect, the laundry room was great to have and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and more. We are looking forward to next year!

The Sand Dollar 105 is a beautiful condo. It has everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable. The view from the balcony is picture gives you a front row seat to the most spectacular sunsets. It is a really nice condo with many great updates. It offers lots of space for families. Close to many great places to dine and close to shopping. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

We loved staying in Indian Shores, the location of the condo is perfect, the property management company was kind and very helpful. The location to the beachfront and pool/hottub was amazing. The only issues we had was that there were no paper towels, no napkins, no paper plates, not much laundry detergent , and no dish soap . And normally when we stay in VRBO's, they have coffee and some spices.

Enjoyed our stay. Only negative was no covered parking. The Vrbo listing is a bit deceiving that it shows the covered parking, but only owners are allowed to use it, even if they are not there, renters cannot. That should be made very clear in the listing. Especially for a property in Florida .

Hello, I am so sorry you feel that way but I have double checked our listing and there is nothing there in any text or pictures that should have led you to believe that you would have covered parking. I appreciate your thoughts on it, however, there are only about 25 spaces under the building and 60 condos so it is just not possible to assign the parking to allow each CONDO a spot underneath the building. Hence the HOA set it up this way so that just the owners that are in-house during their stays have those spots. All others park out front.

The property was very suitable for our group of six adults. We utilized the common areas frequently, but it was nice to be able to retreat to our own private space when needed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the spacious balcony with its beautiful view! The pool, spa, beach, and pier areas were easy to access and well maintained. The property is located in a great area, very close to many interesting restaurants and attractions. Property was just as it was described and depicted in the photos. Would definitely stay there again!

Had just about everything we needed, except measuring utensils. Not much for beach items so you will need to bring your own or buy some while there. They did have a few beach towels, an umbrella and a child's float.

The decor was outdated and some minor maintenances were needed but overall everything was clean, sanitized and perfect for our vacay needs!

Overall, this condo was great and we would absolutely book again! You just can’t beat this view from the balcony!!! The Condo was clean and gave plenty of room for our family of 4. Great condo, Great View, Great staff & Great Facilities! Will definitely be back and even chose this unit. Unit was very clean and roomy, decor was a bit mismatched but we only slept there not hosting a dinner party to worry about that!

Always enjoy staying at the sand dollar. This particular condo is in a great location. The sink in the bathroom still drains slow. One of the recliners needs to be replace its broke. Other than that the condo was great

We have stayed at the Sand Dollar for over 20 years. Every year has been totally awesome! Our room is always clean and well furnished. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is the perfect temperature. The pool area is a good size although it could us one or two more covered tables. The view of the gulf is beautiful and the sunsets are awesome! We will definitely be returning again next year.

The linens had a strange odor to them so I washed them right away and they were fine. The unit was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped.

Hmmm. We have a nationwide, professional laundry service sanitize and launder our linens. Perhaps the odor you sensed was the chemicals they use.

Place was great, overall very happy with it. We loved being right next to the ocean and to have views of the ocean while at the condo. There were a couple sinks that didn't drain well, but hey, you're at the beach in sunny Florida. I can live with that! :)

Our overall stay at the Sand Dollar was fabulous. The condo was clean and the view of the gulf was amazing. It is right where local restaurants are. The staff was friendly at the Sand Dollar and the other residents were all kind and helpful. The hot tub was nice at night time. The condo is very safe with the key locking system as well. The pier is a plus!! The furniture in this condo was a little uncomfortable and the furniture on the balcony could be replaced however we were not inside much. The beds were comfortable. For future renters, the kitchen was equipped however there were no spices, foil, saran wrap, ziploc bags so make sure those items are on your grocery store list. We will definitely be back!
